Every kitten placed through our platform is thoroughly examined, vaccinated, and cleared for travel by a licensed veterinarian.

Before leaving the breeder’s care, your kitten undergoes a comprehensive health check performed by a licensed veterinarian. This exam covers:

  • Heart & lungs

  • Eyes & ears

  • Skin & coat

  • Gastrointestinal health

  • Joints & mobility

  • Weight & development

  • Signs of parasites or infection

The examining vet must certify your kitten is healthy and fit for travel.

✔ Age-Appropriate Vaccinations

Every kitten receives all required vaccinations relevant to their age, which may include:

  • FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia)

  • Rabies (if age-appropriate)

  • Deworming and parasite control

Vaccination records will be included in your adoption packet.

✔ Health Certificate for Travel

For all kittens traveling by air or ground transport, a USDA-approved Health Certificate is issued by the attending veterinarian.

All partnering breeders follow strict breeding and care protocols including low breeding frequency, proper queen care, clean living spaces, and socialization.

🧬 Genetic Health Guarantee (Inherited Diseases)

We guarantee that your kitten is free from life-threatening congenital or hereditary diseases detectable at the time of adoption.

If within the first 12 months a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your kitten with a severe genetic or congenital condition that significantly affects quality of life, we will:

  • Offer a replacement kitten of equal value OR

  • Work with you toward a fair and compassionate resolution

(Documentation and vet reports must be provided.)

🦠 Infectious Disease Protection

Your kitten is guaranteed to be free from major infectious diseases at the time of adoption, including:

  • Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)

  • Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)

  • Panleukopenia

  • Severe respiratory infections

  • Gastrointestinal parasites (beyond typical transitional parasites in kittens)

Suspicion of infectious disease must be reported within 72 hours of arrival, along with a veterinarian’s written diagnosis.

🕒 72-Hour Initial Health Guarantee

Once your kitten arrives, we strongly recommend you schedule a wellness check with your veterinarian within 72 hours. This ensures:

  • A smooth transition

  • Confirmation of the kitten’s good health

  • Updated recommendations for diet, deworming, or booster shots

If a serious health concern is found during this window, contact us immediately so we can assist and uphold the guarantee policies appropriately.

🍽 Proper Care Requirements

To maintain the validity of the Health Guarantee, adopters must provide:

  • Proper nutrition (kittens must remain on the recommended kitten diet for the first weeks)

  • Routine veterinary care

  • Updated vaccinations and parasite control

  • A safe, clean home environment

  • Normal care practices appropriate for the breed

Neglect, injury, or exposure to unsafe conditions voids the guarantee.

❌ Limitations of the Health Guarantee

The following are not covered under the guarantee:

  • Non-life-threatening conditions

  • Stress-related symptoms from travel (temporary diarrhea, mild sneezing)

  • Minor parasites common in kittens (can be resolved with routine treatments)

  • Hypoglycemia (common in small kittens if improperly fed)

  • Allergies or sensitivities to food or litter

  • Buyer negligence, injury, or improper care

  • Conditions arising after adoption due to environment or exposure

We aim to be transparent so families understand what to expect and how to best protect their kitten.

🚚 Travel & Delivery Health Standards

We follow strict protocols for safe transportation:

  • USDA-certified carriers or nannies

  • Temperature-controlled environments

  • Mandatory rest, feeding, and hydration before travel

  • Travel crates sanitized and prepared

  • Kittens escorted or monitored throughout the journey
